Over the past few months, we keep hearing, seeing and experiencing how everything around us has changed. We’ve been forced to adapt, reconsider and incorporate new ways of doing things that previously wouldn’t have crossed our minds.
But, let’s challenge for a moment the statement that everything has changed.
Because in my daily practice, what I have witnessed over the years and hasn’t changed at all is that, above all, people wanting to learn Spanish are in need of connecting, making new friendships, integrating into a community and getting involved.
And whereas the teaching industry is changing to adapt to online learning, there is a much deeper change required than simply taking the traditional classroom approach and doing it online.
For me, the world can totally turn upside down, but basic learning principles remain the same. I’ve been tailoring language learning for many years already and I know that, in essence, it doesn’t matter what’s happening outside.
Everything starts with a strong desire and commitment to learn the language and a change in perspective.
Because if you want to learn faster, your learning needs to be connected with you, with your needs, your interests and it needs to take into account how your brain learns better.
